I was lucky enough to speak to Marcos Chavez who is the creative director of visual communication. He was more than willing to talk about the pro bono project which was titled "you are here". In one of his statements he said that with the economy the way it is right now, TODA had been reevaluating what graphic design actually meant to the design firm. The firm then arrived at the idea that their work should revolve less around "slick graphics and more around doing good".
As of right now, I'm in the process of getting a few more questions answered as well as waiting for a few photos of the event.
